Couldn't resist snapping this pic of David sacked out after dropping Ethan off at baseball. Love my sweet boy.

In honor of Memorial Day, we decided to head over to the Tahoma National Cemetary and put some flowers on my Grandpa's grave site. It was awesome to see every single grave decorated with the us flag as well as the entire drive lined with flags. My kids thought it was amazing... and so did I!

Audrey waited in line f-o-r-e-v-e-r to get her face painted at the school carnival tonight and when it was finally her turn I couldn't believe it when she told them she wanted a beard and mustache. Ooookay! She thought it was pretty cool and definately got a lot of squeals from her friends.

Today David had his little preschool field trip to QFC and it was surprisingly pretty fun. He loved listening to Ken, the store manager, talk into the intercom, and seeing the big fish back in meats, going in the really cold freezers, and watching the forklift. I can't believe preschool is almost over!

Today was book club and we went to go check out the Panama Hotel, which was part of the book we read this month, Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet. It was such a good book and it was fun to go check out some of the history of Seattle. Even though it was hectic since Ethan had baseball and Jason was out of town, I'm glad I made it work and didn't bail.

Took some senior pics for Kassie and Dallin today. They turned out really cute, but it's not hard to do when you have such good looking subjects!

Today was the first sprinkler day of the year. Temperatures didn't even quite hit 70 degrees, but after much begging, I finally gave in and let them play in the water. I'm such a pushover.

Hip Hip Hooray!!! We finally got our much needed new washer and dryer. Oh my goodness... it is so fun washing all my laundry, however, for the price I paid for these suckers I kind of think that it should fold and put away as well. :)

David is always so proud when he gets his hair cut all by himself. Today he didn't even want me to go back with him. He wanted me to stay in the waiting area. Both my boys are looking mighty handsome with their new haircuts today!

What a wonderful mother's day! I love that Jason and the kids spoil me and try not to let me do any work all day. Jason made a yummy steak dinner with roasted potatoes, asparagus, salad, and rolls. SO good. The kids are always excited to give me their made gifts and I am looking very forward to my new washer and dryer being delivered this week!

Had a fun day shopping with Lou Lou today. She was excited to go spend some of her birthday money and I was excited to get a new pair of jeans! Afterwards we stopped and got a little lunch with her new mini sok monkey.

Seriously? How do you choose just one? David was being so darn cute. Everytime he would see the camera aimed in his direction he would stop and pose for me. LOVE it! The fact that I narrowed it down to just four is pretty impressive.

Man oh man... it's been a rough season. Here's a quick picture of Ethan up to bat shortly before the game was cancelled due to more RAIN. Make it stop already!!

What a beautiful day for a birthday! It was so nice getting spoiled today by Jason and my kids. They even granted my one wish of going on a family walk so I could take a few pictures. Here's one Jason snapped of me and the kiddos together! How did I get so lucky to have these three amazing kids?

Yesterday David fell on his bike and bit completely through his lip. I had to take him to Urgent Care and they decided to glue his lip instead of stitch it. Today it is still really sore, especially on the wound inside his lip and his teeth are sore too from hitting so hard. He hasn't been able to eat hardly all day. Thank goodness for chocolate milk through a straw!

Two pictures today since I didn't take one for May 31st...

David is such trooper! Even though his mouth is swollen and he can hardly eat, he is in pretty good spirits. All he wants to do is play. The morning after his bike accident, his buddy came to the door wanting to play and David turned around and asked, "Mom? Can I go ride my bike with Isaac?" He's been riding all over! Yikes... I made sure to tell him no doing "tricks" and no racing today! Uggh.

Today Audrey and I had a girls shopping day. We hit up some of the great sales at the Supermall and stopped for an icecream treat at DQ when our feet needed a rest. Audrey was surprised when I snapped a picture of her digging in with my cell phone. YUM.

The girls had a little fashion show today... Cute.

The girls spent a lot of time today setting up an entire little pet shop village. It was pretty cute!
